Servers & Candle Bearers

Servers and Candle Bearers assist the Rector during the service of worship.

Please contact the Rector if you are interested in being trained in either of these positions.

Readers

Readers participate during the service of worship by reading the Old Testament and Epistle lessons.

If you are interested in joining this group, please contact the Rector.

Lay Readers

Lay readers are licensed by the Bishop at the request of the Rector to officiate in a more involved way during the service of worship.

They are required to successfully complete basic courses in biblical, historical and liturgical studies, as well as homiletics (preaching).
